Partnering with SF Good Neighbor Week
Thank you for your interest in partnering with San Francisco's very first Good Neighbor Week!
2025 is our first year bringing this national holiday to San Francisco, and we are so excited to get the word out! President Jimmy Carter started the holiday in the 70s and the spirit of the holiday is to elevate everyday acts of care, community, and connection in our neighborhoods.
We’re inviting city-wide nonprofits, civic organizations, neighborhood groups, technologists for the public good, and individuals who embrace the spirit of supporting our neighbors. Our intention is be low lift for any mission-aligned group to become a founding partner for 2025. We'll keep it simple for 2025 and dream bigger for 2026 and beyond!
Founding partners will be featured on our website and social media, and we’ll help promote any public events during Good Neighbor Week (Sept 27–Oct 5). You’ll also be included in future plans to grow the celebration in 2026 and beyond!

Contribute tips or stories to our block leader resource guide
