NOW RECRUITING PARADE CAPTAINS FROM EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD!

We are looking for San Francisco residents who are excited to create a new San Francisco tradition. We’ll have at least two parade captains in each of the eleven supervisorial districts.

Parade captain responsibilities:

• Help organize three community engagement days in your district (Aug- Sep, 2026), where residents can come learn about the parade and help decorate the district banner

• Help guide your neighborhood section of the parade on Sep 26, 2026

Ideal candidates will have:

• Enthusiasm for creating a new San Francisco tradition

• Interest and experience in representing and connecting neighborhoods in your district

• Interest and experience in creative community experiences and collaborative art projects.

We are currently offering $500 stipends for each parade captain. If we can fundraise more, we will increase the stipend.
