Calling all San Francisco neighborhood groups!
We're excited to partner with you on San Francisco's first-ever Good Neighbor Week, happening Sept 27–Oct 5, 2025! This new citywide celebration encourages simple acts of kindness and community connection. We’re inviting neighborhood groups to become Founding Partners by helping spread the word, promoting Good Neighbor Award nominations, and celebrating local nominees. It’s an easy, meaningful way to uplift your community and join in the fun!
Founding neighborhood groups will be featured on our website and social media, and we’ll help promote any public events during Good Neighbor Week (Sept 27–Oct 5). You’ll also be included in future plans to grow the celebration in 2026 and beyond!

Share the Good Neighbor Award nomination form with your members by Sept 12, 2025.
We’ll give you templates for email, social media, and printable flyers to make it easy!Celebrate your neighborhood’s nominees
Once nominations close (~Sept 12), we’ll send you a list of your local nominees along with ready-to-send PDF commendations.
You decide how to celebrate them. Whether it be calling all nominees “winners,” picking a few to highlight, or organizing a small event.The City will also recognize one nominee per supervisorial district (randomly selected).
Local gifts are welcome as a thoughtful thank-you to nominees!
