☕️ Is there a barista or bartender who makes you feel like a local? Knows your name and knows your order? Creates community connections between their small business and the neighborhood? This award recognizes a team member— an owner or an employee— at a local business, who engages with the neighborhood.

Nominees will be recognized during 2026 SF Good Neighbor Week, Sep 26- Oct 4, 2026.

Rules:

• Nominees must work at a small business located in San Francisco.

• People submitting nominations must be San Francisco residents.

• We encourage San Francisco residents to nominate someone who works in your neighborhood (If you really want to nominate someone in a different neighborhood, you can).

• Business owners cannot nominate their own employees.

• Elected officials and political candidates can not be nominated.

• Have fun!
